Santa Dharma is a Tokyo-based experimental pop duo formed in 2012 after a chance meeting in a tiny hookah bar. Their nostalgia-infused DIY sound mixes 80s toy synthesizers, fuzzy electric ukulele, retro drum machines, and field recordings as a backdrop for lyrics about reincarnation and space travelers. They create an energetic live electro sound without the use of computers.
